Always We Care Childcare and Dayschool is a
"In home" CHILDCARE AND DAYSCHOOL. Children get the best of best worlds - it feels like home and they are taught like school.
Children are encouraged and motivated as I advocate for their well-being on a daily basis. I am proactive in providing a safe learning environment that encourages children to explore, experiment, make mistakes as I assist their learning process - looking for those reachable / teachable moments that are not always included in circle time. I am proactive in facilitating an environment that welcomes children and their families... ensuring that socially, physically, cognitively and
linguistically - the children's needs are being met, using developmentally appropriate practices - that are interactive, engaging and stretch their imaginations. With that being said, I (Mrs. Theresa) believe all children have the ability to learn and be taught. I believe that children are masters of their own individual worlds. Their worlds are at first self absorbent needing and wanting their needs to be met and wanting what they want - when they want it. As children develop and mature they are not so self absorbent. They are curious, resilient, impressionable, capable of making friends (most of the time by themselves) and able to create and form their own opinions (most of the time) based on the experiences they are exposed to and learn from
( most of the time). Like Erik Erikson's stages of psychosoicial development state, I believe as human beings we pass through a series of eight stages that expand over a life time. The stages appear as hope (in infants), will (in toddlers), purpose (in preschoolers), competence (in school-age children), fidelity (in adolescents), Love (in young adults), care (in the middle-aged), and wisdom ( in older adults). My job as a childcare and dayschool teacher IS important. I am loving on, nurturing, introducing, teaching as well as role modeling positive behaviors and attitudes EVERYDAY - with the children in my care. I partner with the parents, grandparents and guardians of the children I engage with, teach and care for in my home. I ensure that the children I interact with on a daily basis ...
